Who We Are
Aerial Athletics is a premier destination for children seeking to engage in gymnastics, tumbling, Ninja Kids, and cheerleading. Nestled in the heart of Schertz, TX, Aerial Athletics prides itself on offering a safe, supportive, and dynamic environment where students, ages 18 months to 17 years old, with any skill level, can flourish. Through expert instruction, innovative and fun lesson plans, and a focus on character development, we strive to nurture the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our students while promoting values of teamwork, perseverance, and lifelong fitness.
About Our Facility
Aerial Athletics boasts a modern and fully equipped facility to accommodate a wide range of activities. Our spacious gym provides ample space for training our students, featuring high-quality mats, beams, bars, trampolines, and other essential equipment. Our preschool gymnastics program has a specialized area with equipment designed for preschool-age children. Parents can relax and observe classes from our comfortable viewing area with seating and amenities. Our dedicated birthday party room is the perfect space for hosting celebrations and other special events, with ample seating and tables.
Meet The Founder
Aerial Athletics was opened in 2003 by Heather Schnelzer. Heather's passion for gymnastics comes from growing up as a competitive gymnast, where she competed at the Junior Olympic level. She was recruited by the College of William and Mary before transferring to Trinity University here in San Antonio. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Trinity University. After eight years of serving as Head Coach for several gymnastics clubs, Heather opened Aerial Athletics to serve the San Antonio communities. In 2007, she received the Texas Coach of the Year and Region III Coach of the Year awards. She was a member of the Texas Gymnastics State Board and Region III board for several years. Heather also owns STRIVE Gym Camps, which provides camps for athletes seeking gymnastics at the NCAA level after high school graduation.

Gym Calendar
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Aerial Athletics is a year-round school with no long-term contracts. Our calendar is based on a 48-week year with continuous enrollment.
- To unenroll, a drop request through the Parent Portal must be submitted. A drop request received before the 23rd of the month will allow the student to drop at the end of the month. Otherwise, the student will be enrolled for the next month. There are no refunds or credit given for tuition.
- All active students may schedule a make-up class for missed classes due to personal absences or gym closures. Make-up tokens expire 60 days after issue date. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes.
