Dear Aerial Athletics’ families,

What a time that we are living through at the moment! I hope this email finds you safe and well. I do want to express a huge thank you to all gym parents who are health care workers, first responders, or any field that is making our world safer and better for all our families right now. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

As of midnight, our city will be under the “Stay home, Stay Safe” mandate given by our San Antonio Mayor yesterday. Thus, we have closed all our gym offices. We will continue to check our voicemail, emails and keep our website and social media updated with the current information.

I want to extend a huge thank you to all who have responded this past week with words of encouragement, cards and gift cards for our staff, and those of you who have chosen to continue to pay your tuition through the closure. Your gracious gestures give me so much hope about our gyms’ future and prove how special our Aerial Athletics family is in times of need.

For those that have reached out in the past day to ask how you can help, here are some options that we feel will be the most beneficial for our gym and staff:

  • Our number one request is that everyone returns when we reopen. Aerial Athletics only exists to serve our students and their families. The day our students can walk back through our doors again will be a celebrated day.
  • Please look through the attached Staff Temporary Job list. Please consider hiring one of our dependable staff for a job or need you may have during this closure.
  • Cards of encouragement for our staff. You may mail these items so you can stay safe at home. We will check our mail several times per week. The gym addresses are:

Aerial Athletics - San Antonio, 4335 Vance Jackson #3, San Antonio, Texas 78230

Aerial Athletics - Schertz, 17361 Bell North Drive #101, Schertz, Texas 78154

  • We are offering the option to pay your tuition in exchange for an account credit to be used toward future tuition when we reopen. This option will allow us to take care of staff who were either temporarily laid off or had their hours reduced. If you wish to opt-in to continued billing through the closure, you may respond to this email.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. We are continuing to pray for each of you and your families. We look forward to seeing each of you again once this is all over!

Blessings,

Heather Schnelzer
